welcome members of HorseConscious.com
In 2010, Kentucky Horse Park http://www.kyhorsepark.com plays host to the World Equestrian Games http://www.feigames2010.org in Lexington, KY.
The World Equestrian Games are effectively the world championships for 8 different equestrian sports. The Games are held every four years, two years either side of the Olympic Games and are governed by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI).
To coincide with the Games, the National Quilt Museum http://www.quiltmuseum.org, about 4 hours away in Paducah, KY, is holding a juried exhibition of quilts about and/or depicting horses.
We are joining together to submit our own quilt to help raise awareness of our desire to change the collective horse consciousness for the betterment of both humans and horses alike.
